Under the supervision of the Manager of Reno Breast Center, the incumbent produces diagnostic mammograms, assists radiologists and referring physicians in mammographic procedures, and ensures patient care while representing the purpose of Renown Health.

The major challenges include understanding and applying technical skills to operate mammographic equipment. The incumbent must demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care based on physical, motor/sensory, psychosocial, and safety standards appropriate to adult and geriatric patients. The role requires proficiency in operating the mammography unit, general knowledge of hospital and department computer systems, and the authority to make technical decisions to optimize image quality.

The position also involves providing patient care and may require performing additional duties related to Reno Breast Center as needed.

• Education: Must have working knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).
