Position SummaryThis Lead Scrub Tech – Gyn is a full‑time opportunity that offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. The individual will be dynamic during operative and invasive procedures, ensure the operating suite is adequately prepared for each procedure, monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies, assist the manager with supervision and education, and participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Interact professionally with patients, family, and co‑workers
- Adapt procedures to meet individual needs of patients ranging from infant to geriatric
- Prepare rooms in a timely manner with all anticipated instruments, sutures, supplies, and equipment for each surgical or GI laboratory procedure
- Assist in positioning, prepping, and draping of patients for surgical procedures

- Minimum:
High School diploma or equivalent. - Surgical Technician certification required (within 6 months of hire) or verifiable hospital surgical tech experience prior to 1/1/2018.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in the operating room.
