B. Miller Medical Center - - Responsibilities:
Assist the Pharmacist by filling physician orders for medications across various forms (oral, rectal, topical, injectable).;
Prepare intravenous solutions and admixtures using aseptic technique in a Laminar Air Flow hood.;
Calculate dosage measurements and assist in labeling, filing charge slips, and providing drug information to staff and patients.;
Fill prescriptions and support medication distribution within the hospital setting.;
Demonstrate competency with automated pharmacy systems and IV preparation procedures.
