Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Full-time position located south of Reno, Nevada. Responsible for performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and monitoring patients. Maintains equipment, documents interactions, and ensures safety and accurate diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-procedure instructions
- Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment
- Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to safety standards for radiation exposure and biohazard control
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostics
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- Certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N) – Required
- Valid state license in Nuclear Medicine (Nevada) – Required or ability to obtain
- BLS Certification – Required
Skills:
- 1+ year of clinical experience
- BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
