Role
Recreational Therapist Supervisor responsible for developing, planning, and managing recreational activities to enhance patients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and social functioning across all age groups.
Key Duties- Collaborate with treatment teams to provide individual and group interventions aligned with therapeutic goals;
- supervise recreational therapy staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and addressing performance issues;
- ensure activities meet organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field;
- minimum of 2 years experience in mental health recreational programming preferred;
- valid Nevada licensure (CTRS, art, or music therapy);
- valid Nevada driver's license;
- BLS and Handle with Care certifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed;
- knowledge of therapeutic recreation practices and mental health treatment approaches.
