4x10s Days - 6:30am to 5:00pm (Rotating Days)

Job Description:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality Nuclear Medicine data to the interpreting physician. This role is essential in adhering to departmental procedures and complying with State and Federal regulations. The incumbent delivers Nuclear Medicine Services to a diverse patient population encompassing Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Nuclear Medicine procedures while ensuring patient care and data integrity.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing personnel for scheduling and patient preparation.
• Utilize advanced scintillation cameras, computers, and support equipment effectively.
• Maintain communication with vendors regarding radiopharmaceutical orders or equipment repairs.
• Perform minor clerical duties as required and participate in the call schedule during short staffing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required.
• Must possess AART or RCIS certification.
• Nevada State License required prior to start date.
• BLS (AHA) certification is necessary.
