Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for an outpatient imaging center in Reno, NV, requiring 2+ years of MRI experience and proficiency with GE or Philips scanners.

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Tech experience
• ARRT (MRI) certification required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Experience with GE or Philips MRI scanners required
• License required if applicable

• Outpatient imaging center setting in Reno, NV
• Serves a 500-mile regional catchment area with an extremely busy, fast-paced environment
• 3x12-hour shifts with varied hours, including potential weekends, holidays, and call shifts
• Call is required as part of this assignment
• May be required to float to other areas of the organization within competency level
• Epic EMR used; training provided during orientation or candidates may test out
• 13-week contract
• Produces diagnostic MRI scans, assists radiologists and referring physicians with MRI procedures, and ensures patient care
• Must be able to provide age-appropriate care for patients ranging from infants to geriatrics
• Responsible for technical decision-making to optimize MRI image quality
• Must cover a minimum of 2 major holidays during the contract
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have a 13-week break after their last contract before returning
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration; the facility does not extend contracts to make up for approved time off
