Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District is recruiting Lateral Firefighter/Paramedics to join our team in Northern Nevada.
If you're an experienced Firefighter/Paramedic looking for your next opportunity, TMFPD offers:
- Starting salary: $28.98/hour with at least one year of qualifying experience; additional experience may qualify for higher step placement
- 48/96 work schedule
- 100% employee medical coverage | 50% dependent medical coverage
- Nevada PERS retirement
- IAFF Local 2487 representation
- Specialized opportunities including Regional Haz Mat, Water Entry Team (WET), ALS EMS & Ambulance, and Wildland Overhead assignments
Lateral Entry: At least one year of current, full-time Firefighter/Paramedic experience with a public all-risk Fire/EMS agency and completion of your current employer's Firefighter probationary period.
