Universal Health Services - - Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting under the direct supervision of a registered nurse preceptor;
Communicate patient condition changes and diagnostic results to the RN preceptor;
Perform bedside shift reports at the beginning and end of each shift;
Place and update patient care information on the communication board during shifts;
Complete hourly rounds addressing the 5 P's (pain, potty, position, periphery, and IV pump status) and ensure a safe environment to reduce errors
