Job Description- Dispense prescriptions and coordinate clinical services for specialty drugs at the branch location.
- Review patient profiles, drug interactions, sensitivities, and drug usage database related to prescriptions.
- Determine if prescriptions require physician clarification or follow-up intervention.
- Enter prescriptions into the computer system and ensure accuracy of dispensing.
- Assist patients with medication questions and concerns, including doctor communication and therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain procedures related to quality assurance, controlled substances security, and hazardous waste disposal.
- Perform final prescription quality checks for accuracy and dosage.
