Oversees all Set-up Banquet functions under the direction of the Banquet Manager. Ensuring guest satisfaction. Assists in on-going evaluation of employees. Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.

HOURLY RATE
: $18.00

Qualifications
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of 2-4 years as Banquet Captain in a multi-unit hotel or casino
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Frequent walking
  • Work area is subject to variable temperatures
  • May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise

:

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
:
Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills.
Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for ensuring that Silver Legacy’s service standards are met during banquet functions, including set-up, equipment, room set-up, lighting, etc.
  • Ensure all rooms are set up according to the banquet event order (BEO)
  • Ensure that door signs are put in daily for each function according to BEO
  • Ensure that back hallways and equipment is organized, clean and in its correct space allowing for proper egress
  • Notify Assistant Manager of any damage to equipment as soon as possible
  • Always present a professional manner
  • Review weekly functions and employee scheduling with Banquet Manager
  • Ensure that proper sanitation procedures are followed at all times
