Host – Shore Room, Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa

Shore Room at Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa, part of Schulte Hospitality Group, is seeking a dynamic, service‑oriented Host to join our team.

• Supervise and coordinate activities of restaurant personnel to provide fast and courteous service to guests
• Schedule dining reservations and arrange special services for diners
• Greet and escort guests, provide menus
• Inspect dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness
• Collect payments from guests
• Total receipts at end of shift
• Perform various other duties as assigned

• High school education minimum
• One year in a similar role preferred

• Team player
• Ability to multi‑task
• Effective verbal communication
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Operate available equipment such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
• Basic math skills for making change and giving refunds
• Work flexible hours and shifts

The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.

$12.00 per hour
