Laundry Attendant washer​/loader​/chute

Overview

We are currently accepting applications for Laundry Attendant. This position performs a variety of laundry functions including sorting and folding; ensures products are taken to our laundry department in a timely manner with quantity and quality.

• Separate soiled linens into designated piles and sort them into carts.
• Push and pull full laundry carts.
• Follow all departmental and company safety guidelines at all times.
• Operate both regular and freight elevators.
• Clear the laundry chute and separate sheets, pillowcases, and terry items.
• Load and unload washing machines.
• Stretch and fold sheets as required.
• Assist in other production areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must maintain high standards of linen cleanliness and laundry room maintenance.
• Must be familiar with operating all tools, equipment and proper chemical usage.
• MUST adhere to all grooming standards, no visible tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors.
