Project Houseman - Housekeeping- Day Shift

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is a premier destination for luxury gaming and hospitality in Reno, Nevada. The Resort is seeking a Project Houseman to maintain the quality of service and cleanliness across public areas and guest rooms.

• Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Post caution signs and contact other departments directly for urgent repairs.
• Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
• Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash near Housekeeper carts.
• Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment.
• Deep clean carpets, walls, ceilings, drapery, furniture, etc. in rooms, corridors, elevators, and motor lodge; help clean up overflows and biohazard situations.
• Move furniture, supplies, equipment.
• Work with the management team during remodel or upgrade projects.
• Cover shifts as a houseman if required.
• Operate equipment such as shampoo machine, rotary floor machine, steam machine, pallet jack, extractor.
• Complete other assignments as assigned by management.

• Performed duties including standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; talking and hearing.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus.

• Must be able to lift/push 75 lbs without restrictions.
• Organizational ability to accomplish all tasks assigned.
• Must adhere to all departmental policies and procedures.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must adhere to all grooming standards: no visible tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors.
