Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive attitude with guests and team members.
  • Identify guests’ challenges, diffuse situations, and provide service recovery.
  • Actively listen to guest inquiries and respond using a positive, clear speaking voice.
  • Relay accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, hotel services, restaurants, meeting and convention rooms, airline shuttle service, etc.
  • Check guest tickets for seating numbers and direct or escort the guests to their seats.
  • Use linens, table toppers, and table numbers to set up showroom seating.
  • Stand at podium in re-entry area during events to ensure visibility to guests.
  • Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability of simple reading, writing, and math skills is required.
  • Must have the following skills: analyzing, instructing, following instructions, memorization, and problem solving.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, and occasionally reaching overhead, and bending over during the duration of their shift.
  • Must be able to lift/carry 10lbs or less frequently.
  • The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both feet and hands and require occasional light grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be frequently required.
  • Frequent use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work performed consistently indoors with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment and other electrical devices.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • Team Member may be exposed to vibrations, dirt/dust, moving objects, slippery surfaces, odors, and/or secondhand smoke.
