Overview

As an Infrastructure Engineer III, you will play a critical role on our traveling implementation team, ensuring world‑class gaming content and technology are supported by flawless infrastructure. The position includes support for debut and post‑implementation customer concerns and functions as a Level 3 resource for network and infrastructure issues.
You will work closely with sales and PMO teams to assess customers, mentor teams, and quote third‑party hardware. This role is best suited for candidates with strong on‑premises infrastructure experience who can handle hardware, collaborate across teams, and communicate with customers, stakeholders, and executive audiences. It is not intended for cloud‑only or IaaS‑focused engineers.
- Act as the subject‑matter expert on Aristocrat networked products and application connectivity
- Translate application needs into infrastructure and network requirements
- Build, implement, and support enterprise network solutions, including VLANs, IP addressing, and Layer 3 routing
- Configure and support multi‑vendor network environments in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Build, deploy, and support VMware‑based virtual server environments
- Install and configure servers and storage (SAN/DAS) for virtualized platforms
- Deploy and manage Windows and Linux virtual machines
- Build and support core network services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and NTP
- Build, deploy, and support firewall and security solutions, including perimeter and zero‑trust models
- Enterprise‑grade VMware alternatives (nice to have)
- Advanced Windows or Linux automation and deployment tooling (nice to have)
- Kubernetes monitoring and troubleshooting (nice to have)
- Infrastructure and configuration automation tools (Ansible, Salt Stack, Puppet, Chef, Terraform) (nice to have)
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or enterprise systems
- Networking and/or virtualization certifications (e.g., Cisco, VMware) are a plus
- Experience supporting 24×7 production environments preferred
- Casino or regulated‑industry experience a plus
- Ability to acquire and maintain gaming licenses in required jurisdictions, including registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Experience leading technical efforts and guiding workflow when needed
- Strong customer‑facing skills with a service‑focused approach
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
