EUC & IT Operations Support Engineer | Reno, Nevada

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced EUC & IT Operations Support Engineer to join our onsite IT operations team in Reno, Nevada. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in End User Computing (EUC), Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory, SharePoint Online, and IT infrastructure support.

This role involves managing user onboarding/offboarding, endpoint administration, M365 support, inventory management, and data center hands & feet activities while ensuring operational excellence and SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities User Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Execute end-to-end onboarding activities including:
  • Microsoft 365 mailbox setup and license assignment
  • SharePoint, Teams, VPN, and application access provisioning
  • Endpoint provisioning through Microsoft Intune
  • Handle complete offboarding processes:
  • Access revocation across AD, M365, VPN, and enterprise applications
  • Email and One Drive retention management according to company policies
  • IT asset recovery and inventory reconciliation
  • Ensure onboarding/offboarding SLA adherence and audit compliance
  • Coordinate closely with HR, Security, and Application teams
End User Computing (EUC) & Microsoft 365 Support
  • Provide L2/L3 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Support Microsoft 365 services including:
  • Outlook
  • Microsoft Teams
  • One Drive
  • SharePoint Online
  • Troubleshoot:
  • Authentication and login issues
  • M365 sync and licensing problems
  • Endpoint and application access issues
  • Support OS deployments, patching, upgrades, and endpoint troubleshooting
  • Manage Active Directory and Azure AD users, groups, and permissions
Intune & Patch Management
  • Configure and deploy:
  • OS patching policies
  • Feature and quality updates
  • Monitor patch compliance and remediate failed deployments
  • Troubleshoot device compliance, policy application, and update issues
  • Ensure endpoint security baselines and compliance standards are maintained
SharePoint Online Support
  • Support SharePoint Online administration activities:
  • Site permissions and user access
  • Document libraries and lists
  • Version control and collaboration support
  • Assist users with document management and collaboration workflows
  • Coordinate with SharePoint administrators on governance and site provisioning
  • Support adherence to enterprise data handling and security policies
Inventory & Asset Management
  • Maintain and manage IT asset inventory records
  • Perform periodic audits and asset reconciliation
  • Track hardware allocation and movement during onboarding/offboarding
  • Ensure compliance with asset management and security policies
Data Center Hands & Feet Support
  • Rack & stack of servers and network devices
  • Cabling, labeling, and connectivity verification
  • Power cycling and console access support
  • Hardware replacement (RAM, HDD/SSD, PSU, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure, Network, and Database teams during incidents
  • Follow data center access, safety, and change management procedures
Operations & Governance
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and changes using ITSM platforms
  • Ensure SLA compliance and maintain high-quality technical documentation
  • Create and maintain:
  • SOPs
  • Runbooks
  • Knowledge Base articles
  • Support IT audits and compliance initiatives (ITIL / ISO standards)
Required Technical Skills
  • Windows 10/11 administration
  • Basic macOS support
  • Microsoft 365 Administration
  • SharePoint Online support
  • Endpoint patch management and compliance
  • Basic networking knowledge (VPN, LAN, DNS)
  • Data center operations and hardware support
  • ITSM and IT asset management tools
Experience & Qualifications
  • 3–7 years of experience in:
  • EUC Support
  • IT Operations
  • Infrastructure Support
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
