You will develop innovative solutions that drive network stability and scalability, creating automated systems that power global technological advancement. Infra Delivery Install Technicians collaborate with cross‑functional teams, troubleshoot complex technical scenarios, and implement strategic solutions to keep our network running seamlessly. The role requires hands‑on technical work that demands creativity, precision, and a passion for innovation.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.

• Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling, and patch cabling between equipment.
• Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow well established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside of the regional work area – must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in an environment that operates 24/7 with primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
• Work in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments.
• Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.

• Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations as needed.
• Willingness to work temporarily at alternative sites during training periods or until assigned facility becomes operational.
• Travel frequency will vary based on business needs and operational status of assigned facility.

• 1+ years of experience in computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations (or similar technical/vocational roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Industry standard certification (CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+).
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.

The starting pay for this position ranges from $27.00 to $48.00 USD hourly in the USA, NV, Reno and USA, OR, Hermiston. Final starting pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
