JOB DESCRIPTION Top 3 Required Skills- Basic troubleshooting skills – servers, various cables/connectors, networking, and cooling systems
- Basic Linux command-line experience
- Excellent communication skills with strong technical aptitude
- 0-2 years of experience working in a data center environment
- Hands‑on experience with various cable types and connectors
- Understanding of basic safety and security protocols within a data center
- Troubleshoot server issues and identify root causes
- Order, install, and replace server components; return defective parts to vendors
- Update and maintain server firmware
- Configure IP addresses and default login credentials on servers
- Support network administrators with server‑related tasks, including:
- Replacing broken or damaged cables
- Re‑routing cables to different server or switch ports
- Replacing optics on server and switch ports
- Upgrading and installing server hardware components
- Rack, stack, cable, and temporarily deploy servers or switches for remote configuration
- Respond to network administrator requests for hands‑on server and switch support
