Willow Street collaborates with families and their advisors to provide guidance and administration for Nevada and Wyoming fiduciary structures. Founded in 2005, we offer professional trustee services to clients seeking a responsive, relationship-focused fiduciary through our publicly chartered trust companies. We also partner with families who establish their own private family trust companies, specializing in advisory, governance, and operational support for these structures.
The IT Manager, Business Systems is responsible for managing Willow Street’s information technology infrastructure to ensure a high standard of security, effective performance and scalability firmwide. In this role, the incumbent will work closely with leadership to leverage software, implement systems, optimize workflows and enhance information productivity. This position is a key contributor to identifying and designing IT solutions and will participate in the Technology Strategic Committee as appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Associate Director, Information Systems.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
IT Management- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Willow Street’s information technology systems
- Research and analyze IT trends to identify potential solutions to business problems
- Initiate system updates, patching and reporting to mitigate gaps and meet rapidly changing business requirements
- Contribute to the firm’s vendor management for third party vendors
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data governance and compliance
- Collaborate with IT team to prioritize and respond to service ticket requests
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues that arise
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and “go to” resource for complex technology problems
- Coordinate and lead quarterly end-user trainings
- Educate the broader team on development updates and leading practices.
- Participate in large-scale system replacement/enhancement projects
- Assist in the development of system workflows and ongoing maintenance
- Lead one or two significant technology initiatives annually, participate in other projects as assigned
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in communicating and working as part of a team
- Confident in setting and delivering on expectations, internally and externally
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Desire to learn and ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Uses the utmost discretion, confidentiality, and respect in all situations
- 3-5 years of experience in a professional office environment, preferably in financial services, legal, or trust administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies, Salesforce and desired
