Base pay range: $20.00/hr – $24.00/hr

The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for assisting with all of the property’s maintenance needs, maintaining the property’s physical appearance, and processing work orders. The main responsibilities include hands‑on maintenance of units and grounds, responding promptly to work orders, managing the turn and make‑ready process, and fostering excellent resident relations through outstanding customer service. Rotating on‑call duty and some weekend availability are required.
Responsibilities- Participate in the daily operations of the property
- Respond to work orders per company policy
- Maintain grounds and exterior upkeep as needed
- Manage the turn and make‑ready process
- Conduct regular health and safety inspections
- Inspect units for move‑in readiness
- Ensure compliance with company policy, state and federal safety, and fair housing laws
- Perform hands‑on maintenance tasks
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor with improvement ideas
- Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience (required)
- Experience in multi‑unit complexes or hotels (preferred)
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems (preferred)
- HVAC certification (preferred)
- Mechanical background (preferred)
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and work with heavy equipment
- Must live within 30 minutes of the property and possess a valid driver’s license
