Position Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring that all physical areas of the facility is maintained in good function and presentation.

Delegation of Authority: As the Maintenance Director, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Completes all assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Always displays a positive attitude.

Adheres to established dress code.

Meets acceptable Company attendance requirements.

Follows established safety and infection control precautions, policies and procedures.

Attends and participates in in-service training programs as mandated by regulatory agencies/Company policy.

Accepts work assignments from supervisor willingly and takes ownership of job responsibilities.

Follows Company meal and break policy.

Uses supplies without wasting.

Performs daily rounds throughout entire Center and picks up work orders and uses acquired information to assist in establishing work priority.

Provides ongoing preventative maintenance for the facility, building, building systems, fire/safety equipment and medical equipment and maintains log books.

Ensures proper functioning of power generator.

Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.

Maintains on-call status according to schedule.

Makes sure appliances are in good shape

Ensures lights, switches, pull chain long, bulbs, outlets, and plugs are in working conditions and good standing

Ensures phone jacks and racing secured to walls

Ensures outlets within 6ft. of water are GFI

Ensures Call lights are in good standing

Ensures smoking detectors are in good shape and maintenance as needed

Patches, sands, caulks, lays cove base and paints all assigned areas in a professional manner.
