Summary

Description:

Under general supervision, supervise assigned staff, develop, implement, and maintain the energy conservation/management & sustainability programs within the Facilities Management Department. Programs include utility consumption monitoring, energy and water conservation management, solid waste & recycling management, and education & engagement of students, staff, and the public in District sustainability practices. Performs related work and special assignments as required.

Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains the District's Sustainability Action Plan, including current, short-term, and long-term initiatives.

Identifies significant sustainability cost-saving measures within the District and develops implementation plans.

Works with the Grants Department to identify, facilitate, and coordinate grant opportunities and funding from governmental & utility sources.
