Warehouse Team Lead

Sierra Staffing Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, organized, and capable of leading a team in a fast‑paced environment while ensuring productivity, accuracy, and safety standards are consistently met.

This role is responsible for supervising warehouse staff, coordinating operations, managing inventory processes, and supporting overall warehouse performance.

• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse associates to achieve daily operational goals
• Assign tasks and monitor workflow to ensure productivity and efficiency
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to team members
• Promote a positive and safety‑focused work environment

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and staging
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Monitor workflow to meet production and shipping deadlines
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiency solutions

• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counts
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Ensure proper product handling, labeling, and storage procedures
• Coordinate with management regarding stock levels and replenishment needs

• Enforce OSHA and warehouse safety standards
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure proper equipment usage
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse conditions

• 2+ years of warehouse experience required
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
