Operations Manager

Job SummaryOperations Manager – Full Time, located in McCarran, Reno, USA. Responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day site operations, including warehousing, receiving, shipping and equipment management, while ensuring productivity, service, and cost objectives are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and maintain systems, procedures and policies for safe and profitable operations.
- Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals and client SLAs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend cost‑saving measures.
- Lead, coach and evaluate warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance appraisal and disciplinary actions.
- Plan daily work schedules, assign duties and prioritize tasks based on volume, time sensitivity and resource availability.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, training and professional development programs.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance with all corporate and client policies.
- Ensure proper use of WMS and other information systems; provide training as needed.
- Coordinate equipment inventory, maintenance and safety programs for MHE and facility infrastructure.
- Maintain the company’s operational budget and help manage annual operating costs.
- Communicate critical operational issues to senior management and client representatives.
- Attend client meetings and sponsor supplier/customer visits to the site.
- Identify and recommend technological or process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Support the development of management information systems and report metrics.
- Perform other duties as needed and work overtime when required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and WMS systems.
- Strong leadership, coaching and staff development skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
- Adherence to safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Adaptive to change in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 7 years logistics or distribution experience.
- 5 years supervisory or managerial experience.
- Experience in unregulated temperature environments (mild to moderate).
Work requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull 21–50 pounds; frequent bending, walking, standing and occasional climbing or kneeling.
Work EnvironmentLow to moderate noise level, minimal exposure to fumes or chemicals.

Compensation and Benefits- Base salary range: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum.
