Director of Operations

We are in search of an exceptional leader who is as passionate about striving for excellence in business and hospitality as they are about investing in people and cultivating a culture of growth and empowerment.

The right person for this role will be:

A proactive and strategic partner

As the leader responsible for all front of house and back of house operations, you will uphold the highest standards in customer service and hospitality, food safety, sanitation, and organization. While the majority of your time will be dedicated to ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently, you will also keep your eye on the big picture, setting goals, creating budgets, and facilitating partnerships with external partners, vendors, and your fellow leaders.

You will inspire our team with big-picture goals and give them the plans, tools, and skills they need to reach them. You will examine systems and processes to ensure they are as efficient as they can be and work to anticipate the company's needs.

A compassionate teacher, coach, and mentor

At Chick-fil-A Reno, we aspire to care for our community, and that starts with caring for each other. For our team members, we want this to be more than just a job, we want it to be an opportunity for them to grow personally and professionally. As Operational Director, you will be a vital part of creating a supportive, empowering work environment where our people can learn new skills and build lasting, meaningful relationships.

We will count on you to fiercely protect and embody our values of stewardship, teamwork, personal growth, and empathy as you hire, train, and lead our people. You will build relationships with all of our team members and invest in their growth by giving them timely feedback, encouragement, and support.

A self-directed, self-accountable leader of integrity

As an Operational director, you will at times be called upon to lead and make decisions in place of the owner, which means that you will be held to an extremely high standard. We will rely on you to act in the best interests of the business and of our people. You must have an extreme sense of ownership and treat the business as if it were your own.

If you see that something isn't working, be it a piece of equipment, a system, or even a team member, we expect you to take charge of remedying the issue as soon as possible.
