III. REQUIREMENTS

Relevant education and experience

  • 7+ years managing operations including project management and support functions including HR, accounting, procurement and administration through direct reports and vendors.
  • Experience in technology, engineering, robotics, or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record overseeing company operations that align with business objectives including HR, accounting, procurement, or project management through a team.
  • Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Comfortable exercising sound judgment in fast-scaling, low-precedent environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong governance and compliance mindset, ensuring consistent adherence to company and Group policies, procedures, internal controls, and operational standards.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, comfortable making decisions without an established playbook.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to manage multiple functions simultaneously.
  • Clear communicator, able to translate between technical and business priorities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the U.S. organization, driving operational efficiency while supporting engineering, business, and corporate functions.

Back Office & Operational Governance (40%)

  • Lead and oversee HR, Administration, Finance & Accounting, Procurement, and IT operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable business operations.
  • Supervise the HR Manager on employee lifecycle management, onboarding, employee services, and HR operational excellence.
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve operational policies, SOPs, internal controls, and governance frameworks to support business growth.
  • Oversee the Accountant on budgeting, expense management, vendor payments, financial reporting, and coordination with outsourced accounting partners.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, Delegation of Authority (DOA), procurement procedures, financial controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise the Procurement Specialist on sourcing, vendor management, contract administration, procurement planning, and logistics for engineering, robotics, and IT operations.
  • Drive operational efficiency through process optimization, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives across Back Office functions.

Project Management (40%)

  • Establish and manage the Company's Project Management Office (PMO) framework, governance standards, project reporting, and execution methodology.
  • Lead cross-functional planning to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Coordinate project governance across Engineering, Product, Manufacturing, Data, Platform, and Business functions.
  • Monitor project milestones, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, and critical issues; proactively escalate and recommend mitigation plans to Executive Leadership.
  • Ensure project execution complies with approved budgets, operational procedures, governance requirements, and internal approval of workflows.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and execution discipline to support the Company's product commercialization and manufacturing roadmap.

Cross-functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management (20%)

  • Serve as the primary operational coordinator among Engineering, Finance, Legal, HR, Procurement, IT, and Executive Leadership.
  • Coordinate external partners, including legal counsel, immigration advisors, insurance providers, landlords, logistics vendors, and other professional service providers.
  • Ensure operational readiness for new business initiatives, office expansion, overseas operations, and corporate projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the President.
