This position is responsible for managing inventory, building material loads, while maintaining compliance with all company safety requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safety and efficiently load and unload lumber materials from rail cars and lumber trailers,and build material loads accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory placement and rotation, including identifying material grade lengths and counts.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Perform or assist in building, grounds, equipment maintenance and housekeeping as required.
- Other duties as necessary.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Forklift certification (1 year minimum experience required)
- Strong basic math skills.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to maintain a safe working environment.
