General Laborer

General Laborer - Day

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Laborers, specifically in the Cold Finish area. This role involves using grinders to ensure metal parts are free of cracks and meet quality standards. You will perform various grinding tasks, including inspection grinding, finish grinding, spot grinding, and all-over grinding. Additionally, you will engage in other general labor activities as necessary.

This position requires standing for the entire shift and wearing a respirator.

• Perform inspection grinding to ensure metal parts are crack-free.

• Conduct finish grinding, spot grinding, and all-over grinding tasks.

• Engage in additional general labor activities as required.

• Work with grinders in a safe and efficient manner.

• Experience with heavy lifting, capable of pushing and pulling 75 - 100 lbs frequently.

• Proficiency in using grinders and understanding metalwork.

• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

• Experience in manufacturing and machine operation.

• Familiarity with metals and construction work.

The work environment is heavy industrial, characterized by heat due to the use of furnaces. It is described as 'Hot, Heavy, Loud, Dusty, Dirty, and Smelly.' Shifts are available on days, swing, and grave, with specific hours for each shift. The position requires wearing a respirator and standing for the entire shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, NV.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Reno,NV.
