Assembler - 1st Shift; Cable Tray

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking an Assembler - 1st Shift (Cable Tray) at our Reno, NV facility.
Core hours: 6:00 a.m.

- 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.
Hourly rate: $22.73 per hour.

The assembler assists and sets up for welders in the cable tray department.

Responsibilities include:

• Assemble and stack or band cable tray ladders.
• Handle materials and parts up to 50 lbs.
• Perform simple repetitive assembly of parts and components.
• Use bolts, screws, hand tools, clips and other fastening devices.
• Work under close supervision, using models, samples or simple diagrams.
• Handle 50‑pound parts to assist with large part construction.

Support all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives.

• Maintain 5‑S on shop floor and office areas.
• Track and sustain visual management tools such as layered audits, OEE boards, and other LEAN tools.
• Encourage, support and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility.

• No relocation provided; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Reno, NV unless active‑Duty Military Service member.
