Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler - 1st Shift (Packaging) at our Reno, NV facility!
The core hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.
The hourly rate for this position is $19.82 per hour.

- Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components.
- Use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices.
- Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams.
- Pick, pack, and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
- Maintain work areas clean and safe.
- Support all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to:
- Maintain 5‑S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas.
- Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor.
- Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility.
- Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active‑Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

- Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity.
- Exposure to oils, lubricants, and solvents.
- Fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
