Under the direction of the Avionics Crew Lead, this position is responsible for maintaining and installing avionics systems and performing complex troubleshooting, testing and repair of avionics systems and equipment.
- Operates various digital and analog test sets, primarily for line troubleshooting of complex avionics systems.
- Perform minor metal repairs such as extracting damaged screws and replacing racks.
- Swing and compensate aircraft compass systems.
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems using aircraft wiring diagrams and manufacturers installation manuals.
- Install and perform ground and flight checks of all avionics systems.
- Perform all work to FAA and Dassault standards.
- Present yourself in a professional manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate from electronics/avionics technical school or equivalent experience.
- Minimum two (2) years experience as an Avionics Technician in a business jet environment.
- Supplies own tools required to perform the job.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
The compensation for this position typically falls between $26.64 and $55.50 per hour/per year. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus, shift differential or relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
