What You’ll Do – Your Day-to-Day:

Setup Like a Champion Configure press brake machines for each job: tools, gauges, angles – you name it.

Perform test bends and make micro-adjustments to ensure first-piece perfection.

Interpret blueprints like a pro to bend metal to exact specs – no guesswork, just precision.

Follow work orders and job travelers to the tee.

Quality is King Ensure every piece meets or exceeds quality standards before it moves forward.

Use calipers, protractors, and sharp eyes to verify every angle, dimension, and tolerance.

Catch and correct issues like overbends, under bends, or warping before they hit the line.

Keep Things Moving Load and position sheet metal onto the press brake (by hand or hoist – whatever it takes).Work hand-in-hand with teammates to keep workflow smooth and production humming

Keep your area clean and dialed in – because clutter slows you down Maintain & Protect the Tools of the Trade Perform routine maintenance: lubricate, inspect tooling, and keep machines in top shape.

Follow all shop safety protocols – PPE, safe handling, machine safety.

Report malfunctions immediately – downtime is the enemy of progress.

What You Bring to the Table:

Experience High school diploma or GED preferred.

Technical training in metal fabrication or machining is a plus.
1-3 years operating press brakes or working in metal fabrication.

CNC brake experience (AMADA, Trumpf, Bystronic, etc.) is a BIG plus.

Technical Skills Can read blueprints, shop drawings, and job travelers without breaking a sweat.

Understand metal behavior and bend allowances – knows how to shape it, not break it.

Comfortable using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and protractors.

Soft Skills Detail-driven with a sharp focus on quality and consistency.

Self-motivated and team-minded – you can hustle solo or on the line.

Problem solver who can think on their feet and adjust on the fly.

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Comfortable with frequent bending, lifting, and working around loud equipment.

Thrives in shop with dust, heat, and industrial noise.
