Production Specialist

Position: Production Specialist 1, Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm
Summary:

A Production Specialist uses hand tools and machines to assemble a variety of products following standardized methods. He/She must also be able to achieve the daily production goals, meet quality standards and follow safety procedures.

Production Specialist 1 works in a variety of positions in work cells and must have supervision when doing changeovers and setups.

Primary Responsibilities (essential functions):

* Follow all Safety rules on production floor

* Able to do repetitive motion with hands to accomplish tasks for 8-10 hour shift

* Stand or Sit for 8-10 hour shift

* Able to load and push buttons on a machine to perform a tasks

* Able to work with a team of individuals to accomplish assembly of products

* Able to work around heated equipment

Secondary Responsibilities (marginal functions):

* Assist in performing changes on given machines

* Assist in shop floor clean up

* Assist in material restocking

Minimum Requirements:

* Must be able to sit or stand for 8-10 hour per day

* Must be able to perform repetitive motion using arms, hands, and wrists.

* Must be able to lift 10lbs repeatably

Skills:

* Good hand eye coordination

* Attention to detail

Working Conditions:

* 8-10 hours sitting, standing, and/or moving

* Safety Glasses Required
