Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking an Assembler – 1st Shift at our Reno, NV facility.
Core hours: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.; overtime may be required and can exceed these hours.
Hourly rate: $19.82 per hour (subject to adjustment based on skills, experience, and market).

- Perform repetitive bench assembly of parts and components.
- Use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices.
- Work under close supervision, following models, samples, or simple diagrams.
- Pick, pack, and pull orders accurately and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Support Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives, including 5‑S, visual management tools, and Kaizen events.
- Other duties as assigned.
- No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Reno, NV, except for active‑Duty military.
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Fine motor manipulation with repetitive motion.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Stand continuously during the shift.
- Regularly lift 35 pounds; occasional lifts higher than 35 pounds with or without assistance.
- Work in environments with high noise, forklift activity, and exposure to oils, lubricants, and solvents.
