Production Coordinator - 1st Shift

We are currently seeking a Production Coordinator for our 1st shift Production Department.

We're currently hiring Production Coordinator for 1st Shift schedule starting 5:30am Monday-Friday (occasional overtime). Starting Pay $22.23/hr. and up, based on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY: Primarily responsible for ensuring that the records of Raw Material infeed are complete and correct, and that the production breakdown room is performing at a level that ensures adequate raw material is available on lines to maintain consistent line efficiencies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate Production Infeed/Breakdown staff to ensure that raw material requirements are maintained to optimize production run needs.
• Ensures that proper raw material ratios are maintained on blended product lines.
• Provide infeed documentation to Inventory Control Clerk, document and tag Return to Stocks, Rejects and Reclaim items.
• Coordinate pre-op check with Quality Control and inform appropriate parties when problems are encountered.
• Provide advice and assistance, including training, to improve the overall efficiency, effectiveness and staff retention of the department.
• Ensure that safe work practices are observed. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure food safety, safe work practices to protect yourself and others and not engage in unsafe behaviors.

WHAT YOULL BRING:

• 3-5 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• At least 6 months experience as a Production Operator 1.
• Great attitude and reliability.
• Spanish is a plus!
