Production Operator

Shift – Rotating 12-hour shifts – 4 weeks on days and then 4 weeks on nights. Drug free workplace and must pass a physical.

The Production Operator is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations, including equipment setup, extrusion processes, packaging, and quality control. This role ensures products meet required specifications while maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.

• Perform line setup and operate extrusion equipment
• Band and package finished products
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Measure and verify product dimensions (wall thickness, diameter, and ovality) to ensure compliance with specifications
• Apply basic math skills to perform measurements and calculations
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members
• Operate overhead cranes and hoists
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area (housekeeping)
• Participate in continuous process improvement efforts
• Follow and support all safety policies, procedures, and programs

• Hearing protection
• Cut-resistant and heat-resistant gloves
• Hardhat (task-specific)
• Heat-resistant jacket and face hood

• Pipe cutters, deburring tools, Sawzalls
• Banding tools (manual, air, and battery-powered)
