Packaging Technician

The Packaging Technician assists the manufacturing team in packaging, labeling, and order fulfillment of cannabis-based medicines.

• Accurately label, weigh, and package cannabis products while paying close attention to detail for quality.
• Package products in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Complete paperwork duties with consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Operate independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other functions as necessary to provide an adequate supply of product to meet patient/customer demand.
• Effectively communicate with management and team.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing (cGMP) policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a labeling/packaging/customer service position preferred.
• Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy required.
• Punctual with reliable attendance required.
• Good manual dexterity for packaging tasks.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures for extended periods with exposure to dust, allergens, and water; appropriate PPE will be provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; some heavy lifting may be required.
• Physical capability to sit frequently, stand or kneel for extended periods, and twist/bend/stoop/squat/kneel as needed; hearing and vision within normal ranges required for normal conversations and document inspection.
