The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will plan, design and optimise manufacturing processes, with the potential to supervise both the production workflows and personnel.

• Independently analyse production processes and equipment for improvement opportunities using engineering expertise and develop, propose and execute projects to completion.
• Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures within manufacturing environments.
• Continuously analyse manufacturing process flows for quality improvement, cost reduction and throughput gains.
• Estimate staffing requirements and production times for operational decisions.
• Work closely with Production Supervisors to develop, coordinate and implement employee training.
• Support company policies, procedures, FDA regulations and good manufacturing practices.
• Handle customer complaints and failure reports.
• Plan and execute production improvement projects from concept to implementation, including component design and system design review.
• Analyse new products or design concepts for manufacturability, present analysis with recommendations and possible solutions.
• Maintain assembly documentation and production routings.
• Plan and execute testing to assure adequate performance of assembly processes and tooling.
• Ensure compliance of manufacturing processes with performance, regulatory and safety standards.
• Document performed tasks including project descriptions, technical specifications, testing data and implementation notes.
• Present manufacturing‑related designs or processes clearly at design review meetings.
• Troubleshoot production floor issues and implement corrective actions, which may include tooling or fixture design changes or collaboration with R&D on product design changes.
• Train manufacturing operators on new or revised manufacturing process instructions or tooling.
• Demonstrate competency with internal systems (ECOs, IS, MRP and CAD software, etc.).

• Strong technical understanding of mechanics and electromechanical equipment with the ability to troubleshoot, determine root cause, develop and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to learn, adopt and implement new technology quickly.
• Enthusiastic, cooperative and positive attitude.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to listen and apply these skills in daily practice.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring, informal training, leading by example and team building.
• Demonstrate “out‑of‑the‑box” thinking by applying creative solutions to technical challenges.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or similar engineering required.
• Master’s degree in business and/or manufacturing‑related engineering a plus.
• 7+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or equipment engineering position at a production facility.
• Expert knowledge of manufacturing and systems processes.
• Experience or certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Kaizen preferred.
