9/80 Standard – Shift 2

• Perform CNC machining, milling, lathe turning, cutting, grinding, and related tasks to fabricate mechanical parts per engineering designs.
• Use basic hand tools and fixturing.
• Use PPE appropriate to chemical use and other hazards.
• Lift at least 32 pounds.
• Read and understand blueprints and shop orders.
• Follow and give written and verbal instructions.
• Apply basic shop math for measuring ratios by weight and volume.
• Work in and promote a team environment.
• Read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures, while maintaining a commitment to a high standard of safety; comply with all safety laws as well as company safety policies and procedures.

• Highly developed job knowledge/skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a 2-year post‑secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in setup and operation of CNC and hand milling machines, lathes, and other shop tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Inspection of parts using various measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and using a CMM coordinate measuring machine.
• Excellent cross‑functional teamwork, coordination, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self‑starter, high energy, results‑oriented, and ability to multi‑task.

• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Inspection of parts using various measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and using a CMM coordinate measuring machine.
