9/80 (Every other Friday off)

Electrode Operator – support and manufacture a wide variety of intricate Ceramic components for production. Operate silk screening equipment, abrasive trimmer equipment and spray-painting systems while following standard work instructions, charts, tables, blueprints, formulas, sketches, verbal and electronic orders, job layouts, etc., to accomplish assigned work.

• Must be able to use basic hand tools and fixturing
• Must use PPE for appropriate protection
• Must be able to lift at least 32 pounds
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and shop orders
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Able to install specified tooling and set up jobs to specifications
• Maintain the tooling inventory. Ensure that the tooling list is accurate and that all tools are maintained in usable condition
• Keep accurate documentation involved in processing of parts, travelers, logs, process control data, etc.
• Housekeeping
• Preventive maintenance
• Easily trained, work well with engineering and supervisor

• Requires developing job knowledge/skills
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and data entry
• Mechanical experience background
• Good writing and communications skills
• Basic math skills
