The Tunnel Operator is responsible for loading and unloading tunnel washers and dryers, following the correct operational instructions.
Duties- Loading and unloading tunnel washers with proper linen weights and the correct wash formula.
- Loading and unloading dryers.
- Frequently lift and move large quantities of linen.
- Monitor equipment and report any safety issues to Management.
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.
- Lift over 40 pounds consistently.
- Basic knowledge and use of computers.
- Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadline pressures.
- Good vision and hearing capabilities to ensure safety while working around equipment.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
