About the role:The 2nd Shift Supervisor requires a determined individual interested in helping our business grow by promoting a culture of teamwork, dedication and superior customer care. You will be responsible for supporting the management with directing the daily activities of multiple production departments in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of hands‑on CNC machining experience and proven leadership skills to maintain high morale, quality standards, and continuous workflow.
What you’ll do:- Complete production requirements by scheduling and assigning employees where appropriate
- Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plan for alternative actions
- Ensure all procedures are in place and activities align with company goals and objectives
- Lead by example with a positive "can do" attitude that motivates others in the location
- Enforce quality standards and procedures
- Proactively identify and prevent quality issues from occurring
- Commit to ongoing improvement in the workplace by proactively seeking feedback and monitoring operational processes
- Perform inventory counts
- Assist with shipping and receiving of materials
- Perform machine operations and fabrication
- Has certification or willingness to become certified in operating a forklift
- Enforce basic housekeeping standards and Company-implemented safe operating procedures (OSHA, PPE, etc.)
- Develop and maintain excellent customer satisfaction by providing unmatched quality & service
- Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:- 5+ years of machining manufacturing experience, 2+ years in a supervisory capacity
- Ability to lead a team up to 15 with strong conflict‑resolution skills, excellent communication, and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Ability to work independently on 2nd shift with limited support from management
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T, use precision measuring tools and adjust CNC machines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Follow all safety procedures
- High level of honesty and integrity
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must pass a background investigation as part of the selection process
- Must pass the drug test as part of the selection process
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
- (Preferred) – High School Diploma or GED
