Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Technician to join a growing biotechnology and medical device organization. This individual will inspect, process, and verify components used in diagnostic products while ensuring compliance with quality and production standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys hands-on work, and can consistently follow established procedures while identifying potential defects and process improvements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Perform detailed inspections of glass and production components to identify defects, contamination, damage, or non-conformances.
- Clean, prepare, coat, label, and process materials according to established manufacturing procedures.
- Execute production protocols with strict adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Document inspection and production activities accurately and completely.
- Support engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams with process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, quality systems, and company procedures.
- Identify potential failure points and communicate concerns before they impact product quality.

- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, quality control, laboratory operations, medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify small inconsistencies or defects.
- Experience following detailed procedures, work instructions, or production protocols.
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency. Experience in medical device, biotech, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, laboratory, veterinary research, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Prior quality inspection or quality assurance experience.
- Experience working within an ISO-regulated environment.
- Associate degree or coursework in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Experience with scientific bench work, laboratory techniques, assembly, or production operations.
