Position: Assembler II Trainer (1st Shift) - Large Pack - Packaging
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler II Trainer (1st Shift) - Large Pack - Packaging. The hourly rate for this position is $22.73 per hour.

What you’ll do:

• Train all new Assemblers to the Packaging team
• Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components
• Use bolts, screws, hand tools, clips and other fastening devices
• Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams
• Handle 50-pound parts to assist with large part construction
• Support all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to: o Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas. o Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor.

o Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility.

Qualifications:

No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.

Physical Demands:
• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
• Able to regularly lift 50 pounds without assistance. Occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas).
• Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity.
• Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and solvents.
