** Job Description
** Inkblot Marketing’s primary mission is to serve as the supporting system for the Center for Student Engagement and the Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN). The department works to promote the program, services, issues, opportunities, and images of the student body and surrounding community. The service provides graphic design and layout, advertisements for the Nevada Sagebrush, flyers, brochures, programs, t-shirts, social media, branding guidance, and promotional items (i.e., Professional photo, video, etc).As

a Social Media Manager with Inkblot Marketing, you will play a key role in bringing the student voice to life across the Center for Student Engagement platforms. This position is ideal for a motivated, creative student who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants hands-on experience in digital storytelling, branding, and student outreach. You’ll be responsible for managing and scheduling creative, accessible, and inclusive content across platforms like Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Tik Tok, and You Tube;

developing engaging campaigns; promoting CSE events, campus partner events, club and organization events, and other services programs withing the university that students can get connected with and creating accessible and inclusive content. You’ll work closely with the Photo and Video Team, CSE Professional Staff, Marketing and Communications, and on campus programs to align messaging, maintain a content calendar, and report on analytics and engagement.

** Responsibilities
* ** Attend weekly staff meetings and set social media goals
* Close communication with the Inkblot - Photo and Video Team Manager and Inkblot Supervisor
* Manage social media accounts and Linktree
* Promote events and updates promptly while monitor & respond to direct messages in timely manner
* Engage with other social media accounts that align with the University, CSE, and ASUN mission and values
* Develop captions for social media and compose alternative text for all content on all platforms
* Write and edit copy for social media channels while schedule social media posts and campaigns across multiple platforms such as Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Tik Tok, and You Tube.
* Upload and Manage Axis TV system with partner messages
* Develop Text Message Content
* Attend events to capture content to post on stories. (includes non-event items such as recognition months, holidays, expected closures, and potential recognition)
* Maintain content calendar and develop campaign schedule with Inkblot - Photo and Video Team Manager
* Cultivate a strategy for integrating holidays celebrated by our student body in communication with the Inkblot - Photo and Video Team Manager
* Compile a monthly engagement report for social media postings, channels, and texts and report it to the Content Manager.
* Work with content manager to present social media analytics to the Director and write news posts on Lounge for CSE
* Oversee projects impacted by social media, even if the client did not request it.
* Recognize and explore emerging social media platforms that Inkblot could adapt.
