Senior Pastor at Covenant Presbyterian Church
Responsibilities- Preach clear, engaging, and faithful expository sermons grounded in Scripture
- Support members through the joys and challenges of life
- Provide spiritual leadership and direction for worship services
- Serve as Moderator of the Session and work closely with elders
- Administer the sacraments in accordance with EPC theology
- Provide spiritual leadership and direction for the church’s mission
- Provide pastoral care through visitation, counseling, prayer, and presence
- Encourage a culture of prayer, unity, discipleship, and evangelism
- Shepherd the congregation with compassion, wisdom, and humility
- Train and equip elders and deacons
- Deep personal faith in Jesus Christ
- Ordained or ordain able in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church
- Demonstrates humility, integrity, and emotional maturity
- Master of Divinity (MDiv) required
- A shepherd’s heart with love for people
- Experience in pastoral ministry, preaching, leadership, and discipleship
- Alignment with the EPC Essentials of Our Faith
- Commitment to Reformed and evangelical theology
