Overview
RN - Robotics Program Coordinator, full-time day shift at Sierra Medical Center, 6500 Longley Lane, Reno, Nevada. Salary range $42.28/hour – $63.43/hour. The employer complies with applicable wage or salary disclosure laws and bases offers on factors such as education and related experience.
Responsibilities- Provide support to the Department, staff and physicians for the Robotics Program in the Operating Room.
- Assist in managing the Robotic surgery schedule.
- Assist with orders and maintain inventory related to the Robotic System.
- Maintain and update OR/Hospital protocols related to robotic surgery.
- Report quality data to the Robotics Steering Committee.
- Maintain a strong clinical presence. Oversee and advise the surgical robotic staff; participate in the evaluation and competency process of the robotic staff.
- Assist in the marketing process and the recruitment of physicians to the robotic program.
- Provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations. Address psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
- Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist about patient condition.
- Assist with maintenance of surgical equipment/inventory.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Assess operating room/procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness; obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all needs of the surgical operating team are met.
- Monitor, position and assist patient during procedure.
- Develop and maintain a Clinical Pathway for robotic surgery teams.
- Monitor and maintain proper functioning of all robotic equipment.
- Manage robotic surgery schedule.
- Demonstrates understanding of growth and development across the lifespan and provide care in a safe environment based on population-specific needs.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
