Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

• Involve the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population‑specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Construct and implement the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill; integrate direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co‑morbidities.
• Coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients; develop goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
• Consistently complete hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs (e.g., pain, repositioning, toileting) and evaluate the environment for patient friendliness and safety.

• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate; NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Prefer one year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in an acute care setting.
• STABLE certification (or obtained within six months of employment).
