Quail Surgical and Pain Management Center in Reno, Nevada, is an outpatient surgical center dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. • Manages the staff of the operating rooms, procedure room, and sterile processing areas, and manages the daily schedule of the operating rooms.
• Maintains clinical skills and knowledge and provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Assess the staff's educational needs and assists in implementing a plan to meet those needs. Coordinates staff education for new equipment and products.

This position performs a dual function, clinical and supervisory. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinical setting, performs disciplinary actions, and participates in hiring and termination of staff. communicates with physicians/nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

• Current NV State Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS (may be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing required or enrolled in an accredited program within one year of employment or transfer into supervisory role.
• A minimum of 3-years OR experience required.
